Namjoon chose a black silk shirt and a dark green suit, I chose to adapt to his style and went for a long black silk dress with spaghetti straps and a slit on one leg. My shoes were open toed and the same dark green color as his suit, perfectly showing that I belonged to him. When Namjoon saw me, his mouth fell open . “You look way too hot, wifey.” He placed a kiss on my temple, making me blush.

Namjoon’s father had booked a table at the best sushi restaurant in Busan and was already seated . T he hostess guided us to the table, past the bar where dozens of dolled up women were seated and tr ying to catch the attention of wealthy men. When one of them caught a glimpse of Namjoon, she got up and blocked our way.

“Namjoonie, oh my God,” the female squealed and wrapped her arms around my best friend. Wait, husband. “I missed you so, so much . Y ou didn’t call me back, but I thought we had so much fun. Are you free tonight?” She pouted and batted her eyelashes at him. The female completely ignored my existence, but I didn’t mind. That was something Namjoon should handle, as he was the one who had no self-control when it came to sex.

“Uhm, Jessica was it, right?” His hand reached out for mine. “Look, I know we had fun, but I’m taken. Or moreover, I’m married. So, if you’d please move to the side now and let my wife and me head to our table.” Without waiting for her response, Namjoon walked away holding my hand. When I walked past the woman, she glared at me and when her gaze dropped to my hand and the ring it had on it, she was fuming out of jealousy.

“Oh my god, did this really happen? Kim Namjoon dumped you?” Another female asked Jessica.

“Did you see that ring? It’s definitely a custom work from Harry Winston, it costs a fortune!” Another one screeched out of excitement.

“I can’t believe he’s off the market.” The other woman whined in disappoint ment . I smirked at the comments, and it was really amusing to hear how desperate women were for Kim Namjoon now that he was all mine. I focused on the current situation when I heard Namjoon’s father ’s excited voice .

The table was filled with business partners , investors and his new wife. Mr. Kim had gotten married again last year and pressured Namjoon to accept her as his stepmom, but Namjoon was still angry and tended to ignore her completely. There were only two seats left , right next to said woman, who smiled politely at me.

“Namjoon-ah! Valentina-ah! You made it, come here, have a seat son. Oh, and daughter!” He laughed and the whole table joined in. Namjoon stiffened next to me and made no move to sit down next to his stepmom, so I decided to take the seat and let him sit between me and one of the investors.
